Besides academics, we encourage students at KITE to participate in extra-curricular activities ranging from sports and writing to online gaming and debating. There’s an activity for everyone at KITE. Being involved in clubs or societies can give students an advantage, especially when applying to graduate school or competing for jobs.
Students can be a part of one or more of the following societies at KITE depending on their interest:
Sports Society: The Sports society will comprise of numerous sports activities ranging from table tennis and football to basketball and badminton. We are working to get coaches on board to help students learn new sports.
Writers Club: The Writers Club will provide a forum for students to engage in dialogue, as well as critique and exchange ideas. Our aim is to support aspiring writers with guidance , as well as provide professional development opportunities including trainings and seminars to hone students’ writing skills. Members of the club will also publish a student newsletter containing the latest happenings on campus.
Debating Club: The mission of the Debating Club at KITE is to provide a medium which encourages expression of all student ideas. The club will allow students to improve their linguistic skills, as well as their ability to communicate with people from all walks of life.
Online Gaming Club: In order to support the growing student body interested in online games, an Online Gaming Club will provide an opportunity for gaming enthusiasts to share their passion for the hobby. Students will have a chance to play online games in an interactive, fun and stimulating environment.
Candid Camera: Candid Camera provides a forum for nature enthusiasts to develop their clicking skills. Members will get a chance to go on trips for photography.
Adventure Ed: This club is not for the weak of heart. It is geared towards organizing adventurous, outdoor extra-curricular activities for students looking for an adrenaline rush. This includes snorkeling, trekking, hiking trips, etc.
