Do you ever wonder why some of us sitting in similar roles are paid less than others. It isn’t only about the number of skills you have but also the way you communicate them. That is where your CV and in person presentation steps in.
The seminar was a brief guidance on polishing the communication skills in general. The first half of the seminar focused on how to write a gripping, well organized and easy to read CV and also shed light on how to effectively market yourself in general and your skills in particular to potential employers. The second half provided tips on devising and delivering powerful presentations.
Sara Zahid is a marketing professional who has advised leading brands including Nestle, Heineken, Coke and Tetra Pak at leading consulting organizations (Nielsen and Kantar TNS London). She holds an MBA and an MSc in Marketing Communications from University of Birmingham.
