  • August, 2011 – Documents filed with the SECP to setup The Education Enrichment Foundation (EduEnrich) – The Non-Profit sponsoring body/parent of KITE.
  • February, 2012 – After approval from SECP, EduEnrich was formally incorporated as a section 42/SECP Foundation.
  • March, 2012 – Arrangements/agreement to setup the starter campus in Korangi Creek, Karachi finalized – totaling 100,000 sq. ft of covered space and with a capacity for 1,000 students.
  • May, 2012 – Karachi Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship (KITE) project formally launched.
  • December, 2012 – Renovations started at the KITE Campus.
  • January, 2013 – Independent Charter application filed with the Sindh Education Department.
  • March, 2013 – Classes started (Transition to Computer Science) – a 4-month intense course for non-CS majors, offered by The KITE Center for Professional Development.
  • July, 2013 – Affiliation with The University of Karachi secured to launch the undergraduate computer science (BCS) and Business Administration (BBA) programs at the KITE campus.
  • August, 2013 – Undergraduate degree classes start.
  • June, 2014 – A comprehensive collaborative arrangement signed with the IC2  Institute, The University of Texas at Austin.
  • January, 2015 – The University of Karachi affiliation extended to include Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program as well.
  • September, 2016 – Besides existing BBA, BS.CS and B.Des, KITE launches B.Arch undergraduate program.
  • September 29, 2016 – The Sindh Provincial Assembly grants an independent charter to KITE – essentially making KITE a statutory, autonomous, degree granting, higher education academic institution with an explicit mission of crafting entrepreneurs and building the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
  • September, 2016 – KITE Oslo Startup Challenge (KOSC)
  • March, 2017 – First Singularity University event held at KITE.
  • May, 2017 – Special scholarship/admission related arrangements signed with AKU-EB and TCF.
  • Summer, 2017 – KITE – Oslo Akershus University College of Applied Sciences (HIOA) Summer School
  • Summer, 2017 – KITE students intern at NORR, Dubai
  • September, 2017 – BS Mechatronics Program Launched
  • October, 2017 – Sindh/CIEC HEC Recognition
  • April, 2018 – Sindh/CIEC HEC Comprehensive Inspection
